Bronze B are for skaters who are working on perfecting their single jumps, and basic spins. At this level skaters will be taught in both group and private lesson format. Skaters will be learning Skills and Ice Dance along side of their Freeskate sessions. Skills and Ice Dance provide skaters with a strong basic skating skills, as well as introduce timing, rythnm and music. At this level skaters would have a solo and are working through Skate Canada's testing system and perpration for competition. Skaters are recommended to skate a minimum of 2-3 days a week.
 
Competition: Skaters are strongly encouraged to participate in a minimum of 1 competition per season. Participation in more competition is greatly encouraged and great for skater development and experience.
 
Working on the following elements:
  • loop Jump, Flip, Lutz
  • Forward Sit Spin, Camel Spin
  • Backward Upright Spin
Audition/Assessment required
**Assessments are valid for 6 months from more recent assessments date.

Equipment: 
  • Figure Skates 
  • Sneakers/Runners: 
  • Skipping rope
  • Training pants/ yoga pants 
  • Water Bottle 
Skating Attire:
  • NO hoodies, NO long bulky sweaters/jackets
  • Girls: Training/Yoga pants, gloves, zip-up fitted jacket, layered clothing or  skating dress + tights. 
  • Hair must be neatly tied and out of the eyes.
  • Boys: Training/Yoga pants, gloves, zip-up fitted jacket, layered clothing
